At Secura Lifestyle Holiday Parks, we take the safety and well-being of our guests, team members and all who visit our parks, seriously. We are actively monitoring Coronavirus (COVID-19) updates and carefully following Government issued advice. You can access official health updates here.
We recommend that you keep up to date with the latest information available from the authorities. We very much appreciate your support, patience and cooperation as we all work together during this time.
The Australian Government has advised that Australians should no longer undertake non-essential travel for the immediate future. We understand that this may create confusion for many who are unable to return home immediately due to state border closures or for those who live permanently on the road.
We are therefore, committed to remaining OPEN for visitors for whom travel is essential*. Accommodation options will be available to workers, visitors who may be in transit to their primary residence or whom are nomadic in nature.
If you need a place to stay safe and have peace of mind during these times of uncertainty, please be assured our friendly Park teams would be happy to welcome you at a Secura Lifestyle Holiday Park.
*Refer to individual State Restrictions. A Guest Declaration is to be completed on arrival.
Important Information for Secura Lifestyle Guests (QLD Only) – updated 31/03/2020
Non-Essential Business Closure Direction Issued
This will take effect from 11.59pm (local time) 27 March 2020.
Under this direction Caravan and Camping parks are considered a non-essential business.
The exception to this order is “where people live permanently in caravan parks or are staying in caravan parks as interim abodes where their primary residence is not available they may continue to do so with social distancing observed. This includes the use of cabins within caravan parks”
Our interpretation of this exception is that essential travel would be anyone who is staying in a caravan park as an interim abode where they residence is not available, therefore we believe that the following situations would be allowed:
- a person in your region for essential work purposes (i.e. health care workers or other persons providing essential services for example, emergency services or infrastructure projects, with social distancing observed)
- someone travelling for a compassionate reasons (i.e. medical appointment or compassionate reasons);
- someone can not return to their home due to distance (i.e. they are in transit); and
- a guest with has no fixed address (i.e. they live in their caravan or motorhome)

Guests with reservations immediately impacted by the Non-Essential Business Closure Direction have been contacted on 27/03/2020.
